What is AI document processing?

Software that reads documents for you: OCR turns scans into text, parsing or AI extraction finds the fields you need, and checks catch mistakes before the data is used.

What is the difference between OCR and parsing?

OCR turns a picture of a page into text. Parsing takes that text and finds named fields such as vendor, invoice number and total.

Can AI pull invoice data into a spreadsheet?

Yes. Docparser uses parsing rules for fixed layouts, and the n8n modules use AI extraction for varied ones, with totals, duplicate and approval checks.

Do I need to code?

No for most modules. The last two use n8n, which is visual but needs connected accounts and an API key.
