The guide in text
Structured output: AI output in fixed, predictable fields, like a table with set columns, instead of free-flowing prose. People can scan it and software can read it without guessing.
Fixed fields make gaps visible
Each must-have is scored Strong, Partial or Not discussed. Training other staff comes back Not discussed: the panel ran out of time.
Ask for structure
- List the fields in the order you want, with the exact names you'll use elsewhere.
- Limit values where you can (Strong, Partial, Not discussed).
- Give every field an "unknown" value so the model doesn't fill gaps with guesses.

Turn an Interview Debrief into a Scorecard and a Candidate Follow-Up (Recruiting & HR). Turn the transcript of an interview panel's debrief into a scorecard against the role's must-haves, the decisions, action items with owners and dates, and a follow-up email to the candidate. You do every step yourself in a practice copy of ChatGPT, it checks your work as you go, and “Do it for me” finishes any step you get stuck on. Free, and nothing touches your real accounts.
