Updated . Built against the tool’s current screens and checked step by step. How we check this lesson
Presentations.AI can turn a prompt, a document or a URL into a full deck in minutes. Because the result looks finished, mistakes slip through: a number you never gave it, an empty heading, a guess. This short module is the map: which tool fits which deck job, and the checks that matter before anyone sees it. It is a free, five-minute module of explainer cards, the first module of the Presentations.AI Jump Start. This is my own lesson, not an official Presentations.AI course.

What you will do
Three explainer sheets: what Presentations.AI does, which tool for which job, and three checks before a deck goes out.
Every fact on the cards comes from the tool’s own website, read 20 October 2026. The cards show no app screens; the next modules in the course use real ones.
A whole deck, one slide, or a pitch
The AI Presentation Maker builds a full deck from a prompt, document or URL. The AI Slide Creator works one slide at a time. The AI Pitch Deck Generator follows an investor slide order.
Your brand, automatically
Brand Sync pulls your logo, fonts and colors from your website URL, and the Brand Kit keeps them for every deck.
Check every number
In our real run a chart showed revenue for quarters we never supplied. Check every number, name and claim against your own source.
Try it in Presentations.AI
- Write down the deck’s audience, length and the numbers it must use.
- Start a new deck in Presentations.AI and describe it.
- Answer its questions and give it your notes.
- Check every number on every slide against your source.
- Check what your plan needs for PowerPoint or PDF download.
Try it yourself, free
Reading the steps is a start. Doing them is how it sticks. The interactive module walks you through every click in a practice copy of Presentations.AI, checks each step, and never touches your real accounts.

All 11 steps of the interactive module, in order. In the module you watch each one, then do it yourself in a practice copy that checks your work.
1. What Presentations.AI does
- Open the Presentation Maker card. Click the AI Presentation Maker card.
Start with the AI Presentation Maker. Describe the deck, or hand it a document or a web page, and it writes the slides and picks the layouts. It only knows what you give it, so check every number before anyone sees the deck.
- Open the brand card. Click the Brand Sync and Brand Kit card.
Next, brand. Brand Sync pulls your logo, fonts and colors from your website. The Brand Kit keeps them for every deck. Check which brand features your plan includes.
- Open the export card. Click the Export and share card.
And export. Download an editable PowerPoint file or a PDF, or share a link. On our free test account, Download asked for a paid plan, so check your plan before the deck is due.
2. Which tool for which job
- Open the jobs sheet. Click the Which tool for which job tab.
Now let's match the tools to real office jobs.
- Match the quarterly review. Click the The quarterly sales review, again card.
The quarterly sales review. Describe it to the AI Presentation Maker and give it your notes and numbers. Your time goes into checking the draft. That's the next module.
- Match the single slide. Click the One slide needs redoing card.
One slide needs redoing. Use the AI Slide Creator, one slide at a time. You keep the rest of the deck.
- Match the investor pitch. Click the A pitch to investors card.
A pitch to investors. The AI Pitch Deck Generator follows the order investors expect. Problem, solution, market, traction and the ask. The numbers still have to be yours.
3. Before you trust it
- Open the checks sheet. Click the Before you trust it tab.
Last tab. Three checks before a deck goes out.
- Read the numbers check. Click the Numbers card.
Numbers. In our real run, a chart showed revenue for two quarters we never gave it. Check every number on every slide against your own source.
- Read the data check. Click the Your data card.
Your data. Presentations dot AI says it's SOC 2 Type 2 certified and GDPR compliant. Still follow your company's rules about confidential numbers.
- Read the credits check. Click the Credits and export card.
Credits. The free plan comes with credits, and our seven-slide deck used fifty. Download asked for a paid plan. Check the pricing page before a real deadline. That's the map. Next, you'll build a quarterly review deck.
