Runable cheat sheet: how to brief the agent, answer its questions, read the plan and budget credits

Runable is an AI agent: describe the finished work, answer its questions, approve its plan, check the result. From the free Jump Start: Runable course (Free plan, October 2026).

The four-part brief

  1. Goal: what should exist when it is done (a one-page plan, a 6-slide deck, a one-page website).
  2. Who it is for: who reads or uses it (a lender, a client, candle buyers at a market).
  3. Format and sections, in order: list them. Name the file or deck.
  4. Limits: budget, length, colours, what to leave out (no database, one page, mark every assumption).

Its questions, then its plan

  • Runable asks before it builds (Next, Skip, or type an answer). Answer anything about money, promises or your brand yourself; Skip only what doesn't matter.
  • Then it writes a one-paragraph plan. Read it against the brief: sections, look, what it leaves out. Pick Yes, build it only when it matches; otherwise Adjust the plan.
  • Fixing a plan takes a sentence; fixing a finished site takes another day of credits.
  • To change a result, ask in the chat first: say exactly what is wrong and ask it to show the math.

What jobs cost on the Free plan (our runs, October 2026)

Daily allowance
1,500 credits a day, 15,000 a month; the top-right pill shows what is left.
Business plan (Report template) + 1 fix
14
6-slide proposal deck (Slides) + 1 edit
about 200
5-slide Instagram carousel + 1 fix
about 450 (each image page is a paid render)
Market brief, 205 sources + 1 follow-up
562
One-page website (Websites)
841 over two days: start it with a full 1,500

Check before you trust it

  • Sources: open two or three. A citation shows where to look; it doesn't prove the number. Ask "which numbers are estimates?"
  • Math: divide the three numbers that drive the document yourself (cost per unit, price, quantity). Ours said $9 a candle; its own budget said $16.67.
  • Images: zoom in on every slide. Image models draw letters as pictures; ours read HARBOR & PIN2.
  • Privacy: keep customer details and confidential files out of briefs; practise with fake data.

Remember: Check the credits pill, then brief, then read the plan before saying yes. Start the big jobs (research, carousels, websites) with a full day of credits.
