Customer interviews, sales calls and team meetings hold the real reasons people buy or leave, but nobody has hours to replay them. Speak AI turns recordings into text and themes. This short module is the map: what Speak AI does, which tool fits three office jobs, and the checks before you share a quote or a theme. It is a free, five-minute module of explainer cards, the first module of the Speak AI Jump Start. This is my own lesson, not an official Speak AI course.

From recording to text
Speak AI transcribes audio and video with speakers labeled, and says it handles 100+ languages. Its NLP Analytics pull out keywords, topics, names and sentiment.
Ask questions of your recordings
AI Chat answers questions about one recording or your whole library. Ask for themes with quotes, then check each quote against the audio.
Consent first
Get permission before you record or upload anyone, and turn on Redact PII before you share a real call. Speak AI says customer data is never used for model training.

- Upload the file to Speak AI and read the transcript by speaker.
- Scan the keywords and sentiment.

1. What Speak AI does
- Open the Transcription card. Click the Transcription card.
Start with transcription. Upload a recording, and Speak AI turns it into text, with each speaker labeled. Transcripts can mishear a word, so press play on any line before you quote it.
- Open the analytics card. Click the Keywords, topics and sentiment card.
Next, keywords, topics and sentiment. Speak AI pulls out the keywords, the names and the tone, so you can scan a recording without replaying it. Tone is a rough guide, so read the lines behind it.
- Open the AI Chat card. Click the AI Chat card.
And AI Chat. Ask questions about one recording or many. A summary, the main themes with quotes, the fixes people asked for. Ask for quotes, then check each one against the audio.
2. Which tool for which job
- Open the jobs sheet. Click the Which tool for which job tab.

3. Before you trust it
- Open the checks sheet. Click the Before you trust it tab.

- Read the consent check. Click the Consent and privacy card.
