Runable: Make an Instagram Launch Carousel for Your Products (and Catch the AI Typo)

RunableBeginner~10 min practice21 steps

Why this matters

A launch needs people to know the product before they meet you. For Harbor & Pine (made up), that means three scent names, what they smell like and the price, in one Instagram carousel. A freelance designer charges $150 to $300 a carousel, and doing it yourself in a design app takes an afternoon.

Runable's Carousels tool builds the slides from your words. In our run it made the cover first and waited for approval, because each slide is a paid render, then built the other four. It also drew a typo into one slide, and fixing it regenerated the whole image. Both are worth knowing before you post.

Practice

Do every step yourself in a practice copy of the real tool. It checks your work, and “Do it for me” finishes any step you get stuck on.

What you’ll build

Runable carousel panel showing Harbor & Pine slides: a cover reading Three candles, Three Portland mornings, and an Alberta Rain petrichor and cedar slide

You help Maya Chen make a 5-slide Instagram launch carousel for Harbor & Pine's three scents.

You pick Carousels, then Product Showcase, paste the words for every slide, approve the cover, check all five slides, catch "HARBOR & PIN2" on slide 3, ask for the fix and see what changed, then export. The screens are real Runable screens from the Free plan, captured October 2026.

What you need

  • Nothing to start the practiceThe lesson is a practice copy built from real Runable screens. Harbor & Pine and the scents are made up.
  • The words for each slideThe slide copy and the exact prompt we pasted.
  • A Runable account, to do it for realThe Free plan showed 1,500 credits a day in October 2026. This carousel and one fix used about 450.

Concepts

Approve one before it makes five

Images cost far more credits than text. Runable rendered the cover, stopped, and asked us to approve the look. Check the words, colours and size on the first slide before you let it build the rest.

AI draws text, so it can misspell it

Image models draw letters as part of the picture. Our slide 3 header came out as "HARBOR & PIN2". Zoom in on every slide, including the small print, before you export or post.

A small fix can redraw everything

We asked for one word to change. Runable fixed the header but told us the regenerated slide had a new photo and a new layout, kept the old version, and suggested fixing small text by hand in the editor. For one word, a manual edit is often faster and cheaper.

Do it for real

Now repeat it in your own account. Tick each step as you go.

Quick check

3 questions to check you’ve got it.

1. Runable makes the cover and stops. Why?

  • It ran out of ideas
  • Each slide is a paid render, so it checks the look with you first
  • The Free plan only allows one slide
Show the answer

Each slide is a paid render, so it checks the look with you first. Approving one slide first saves credits if the look is wrong.

2. Slide 3 says "HARBOR & PIN2". What happened?

  • You typed it wrong
  • The image model drew the text and misspelled it
  • Runable changed your brand name
Show the answer

The image model drew the text and misspelled it. AI image models draw letters as part of the picture, so small text can come out wrong.

3. You ask Runable to fix one word in an image. What should you expect?

  • Only that word changes
  • The slide may be regenerated with a new photo and layout
  • Nothing changes
Show the answer

The slide may be regenerated with a new photo and layout. In our run the fixed slide had a new photo and new text placement. For one word, editing by hand is often better.
