Higgsfield: Turn a Text Idea into a 9:16 Hiring Ad (and Keep the Words Right)

HiggsfieldBeginner~10 min practice14 steps

Why this matters

Recruiters fill roles faster where candidates already are: vertical video on Reels, TikTok and Shorts. A freelance designer wants about $400 and five days for an ad set (example numbers), and the deadline is Friday.

Higgsfield makes a 9:16 still from a written brief and animates it. Our real run also showed the most important rule for AI video ads: video models rewrite words. The fix is simple once you know it.

Practice

Do every step yourself in a practice copy of the real tool. It checks your work, and “Do it for me” finishes any step you get stuck on.

What you’ll build

Prefer to watch? The short video tour
Frame from the animated hiring ad where a second misspelled line, Aplly 5 minites, has appeared under the real text

You help Marcus Lee make a 5-second 9:16 hiring ad: an exact still for 2 credits, an animation that added a misspelled line ("Aplly 5 minites"), and the fix: animate a picture without words and add the headline, pay and call to action in an editor. 19 credits including the failed try.

What you need

  • Nothing to start the practiceA practice copy with our real outputs. The person is AI-generated.
  • A video editor for the wordsCanva, CapCut or the editor you already use.
  • A Higgsfield account with credits, to do it for realHiggsfield sells monthly plans with credits; check current plans and what the free tier includes before you rely on it. Concepts

Write the prompt like a brief

Who is in the picture, where, what light, the exact words in quotes and where each line sits, plus "readable on a phone". Nano Banana Pro wrote our headline and salary line letter-perfect. Pay and benefits must come from the real job order, never from the model.

Video models rewrite words

Kling 3.0 animated our still and added a second line, "Aplly 5 minites", even though the prompt said the text must stay still. Video models redraw every frame, and text drifts, doubles or gets misspelled. Animate a picture with no words; add every word in your editor, where it cannot change.

A reference copies more than you ask

Our "same photo, no text" edit removed the top band but kept the bottom line. When you need a clean picture, start from a fresh prompt with no words at all.

Do it for real

Now repeat it in your own account. Tick each step as you go.

Quick check

3 questions to check you’ve got it.

1. Where should the salary in a hiring ad come from?

  • The model's best guess
  • The client's real job order
  • A competitor's ad
Show the answer

The client's real job order. A wrong salary is a promise you did not make.

2. Our animated ad added "Aplly 5 minites". What is the fix?

  • Animate it again and hope
  • Animate a picture with no words, then add the words in an editor
  • Use a longer prompt
Show the answer

Animate a picture with no words, then add the words in an editor. Video models redraw text every frame; words added in the editor cannot move.

3. The person in the ad is AI-generated. What else must the ad do?

  • Nothing
  • Say it is AI-generated and never imply a real employee
  • Give the person a name
Show the answer

Say it is AI-generated and never imply a real employee. Implying a real employee or recruit who does not exist is misleading.
