Why this matters
Building an AI agent sounds technical. In Airia it is a few parts you assemble: a model with instructions, an optional data source, a Playground to test it and Publish to share it.
This short module is the map, so every screen in the two building modules makes sense, plus the security and governance side Airia is built around.
What you’ll build
Three explainer sheets: what an Airia agent is made of, which office jobs suit one, and how Airia keeps agents safe.
What you need
- Nothing to startThe module is explainer cards only, with no Airia screens and no account.
- Airia, to try it for realairia.com. Airia has its own plans and agent limits.
Concepts
3 ideas you’ll use in the practice.
An agent is assembled, not coded
Airia’s docs say you pick a model, give it access to the data and tools it needs, and describe the steps. A new agent opens with Input, a model step and Output already connected.
Test the draft, then Publish
The Playground runs your current draft. Changes stay in the draft until you Publish; until then, people keep using the published version.
Guardrails, model choice and logs
Airia lists AI Guardrails such as prompt protection and human-in-the-loop, says it is model-agnostic, and logs every model request and policy decision.
Practice
Do every step yourself in a practice copy of the real tool. It checks your work, and “Do it for me” finishes any step you get stuck on.
Do it for real
Now repeat it in your own account. Tick each step as you go.
Quick check
3 questions to check you’ve got it.
1. Where do you test an Airia agent before anyone else sees it?
- The Playground
- The Airia Catalog
- Audit
Show the answer
The Playground. The Playground runs your current draft.
2. You changed the instructions but did not Publish. What do your colleagues see?
- The new draft
- The published version
- Nothing
Show the answer
The published version. Until you Publish, every interface keeps running the published version.
3. Which Airia step makes a person sign off before an agent acts?
- Human Approval
- Loop over
- JSON Formatter
Show the answer
Human Approval. Airia’s Agent Builder lists a Human Approval step.
Onboard New Clients Without the Back-and-Forth using Airia
Now build one: a client onboarding assistant in a practice copy of Airia, with one rule it never breaks.
