The AI answers from what you give it
AI Assist uses your website, FAQs, documents and business facts. Read every FAQ the setup wizard writes, keep exact prices out, and test the agent with the questions your clients really ask. Testing in the preview does not use message credits.
Pick one plan for after hours
During scheduled offline hours in the Widget Scheduler, the widget stays offline even with AI Assist on. So either let the AI answer at night, or schedule your hours and collect messages with the Offline form. A chat box that looks online while nobody answers is the worst option.
Know what is paid
The chat widget is free with the tawk.to badge. Removing the badge is $29 a month. AI Assist above the free plan starts at $29 a month, and the agent's Schedule page and escalation settings are on paid plans only.
