ChatGPT Slides: Build, Edit and Present a Deck Inside ChatGPT, Then Export to PowerPoint
The weekly update deck can start from the chat where you already wrote the notes, get edited by teammates at the same time, and go out as a PowerPoint file.
What happened
On October 16, 2026, OpenAI began rolling out Slides in ChatGPT to eligible Pro, Business and Enterprise users who have access to Space, on the web and in the desktop app. You can start a deck from a ChatGPT conversation, from uploaded files or from an outline, and TokenPost reports you can also give an example presentation to guide the design. You edit text, images, shapes and charts directly or ask ChatGPT to make the change, and teammates with edit access can work in the same deck at the same time. You can present from ChatGPT, and on the web you can export the deck to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides. The rollout is gradual, so not every eligible account has it yet. Who gets it, and what it costs
- Plans: eligible ChatGPT Pro, Business and Enterprise users.
- Also needed: access to Space, the shared workspace OpenAI launched on September 29.
- Not listed: Free, Go and Plus.
- Where: ChatGPT on the web and the desktop app. Export is on the web.
OpenAI lists no separate charge for Slides. It comes with the eligible plans above, while the gradual rollout reaches your account.
What it means for an office team
The most basic case: every Monday someone turns last week’s notes into a five-slide status update. With Slides you ask for the deck in the same chat where the notes are, fix the numbers on the slide yourself, and a teammate adds the risks slide at the same time.
Export it to PowerPoint or Google Slides before it goes to a client, and check every figure and name on the slides against your source notes, because a finished-looking deck is easy to trust too quickly.
