AI PDF is a first read, not the last word
AI PDF Summarizer gives the key points of a long file with clickable page references, and Chat with PDF answers your questions about it. Smallpdf itself says to review important sections in the original document when accuracy matters, so click the page reference and read the sentence.
Signing yourself vs collecting signatures
Sign PDF adds your own signature, initials, date or check boxes. To collect other people’s signatures, Smallpdf points you to Request Signatures, which runs on Sign.com.
Redact and protect are different jobs
Redact PDF removes sensitive information from the file. Protect PDF adds a password, which only locks it. Check the redacted copy before you send it.
Practice
Do every step yourself in a practice copy of the real tool. It checks your work, and “Do it for me” finishes any step you get stuck on.
