That's the line to catch. 3. ### Ask for a claim-by-claim check Each claim next to the fact behind it. Two rows get flagged: the filing time is only partly supported, and the refund date isn't supported at all. 4. ### Send the honest version Missing forms listed, the finish, review, e-sign and e-file steps explained, and a pointer to the IRS **Where's My Refund?** tool.
