Use this after you give one real office task to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot, and you want a fair, boring comparison on facts instead of an opinion. Paste your source facts and the four answers, and the AI builds the scorecard.

The scorecard is a first check, not a verdict. Open the source yourself and confirm anything marked wrong, and remember that the plan your company pays for decides which assistant you may use at work.

## The prompt

Copy it into ChatGPT (or Claude, Gemini or Copilot) and replace every `[BLANK]` with your own details. It uses the four parts from [Prompt Writing 101](https://learn.ynteractive.com/content/prompt-writing-101-role-context-task-format): Role, Context, Task and Format.

Copy prompt

```text
Role: You are a careful reviewer comparing answers from four AI assistants to the same task for [BUSINESS].
Context: The task was: [TASK]. The facts the answers must match are: [FACTS]. The four answers follow, labelled A to D: [ANSWERS].
Task: For each answer, check each fact and write Correct, Wrong or Missing, with a one-line reason. Also list anything the answer added that I did not ask for. Do not decide which assistant is best. Do not invent facts that are not in the source.
Format: A table with one row per answer and one column per fact, then a short list of added extras per answer. End with two questions I should answer before choosing one for work.
```

## Fill in the blanks

**`[BUSINESS]`**

Your firm or team name.

**`[TASK]`**

The exact task you gave all four assistants.

**`[FACTS]`**

The three to five facts that must appear correctly, such as a date or a phone number.

**`[ANSWERS]`**

The four answers, pasted one after another and labelled A to D.

## Example, filled in

**A made-up example** from the free lesson [Choose the AI Assistant Your Team Should Use, Tested on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot](https://learn.ynteractive.com/content/chatgpt-vs-claude-vs-gemini-vs-copilot-same-task). Ridgeline Insurance Agency is the made-up firm in the Choose the AI Assistant Your Team Should Use lesson. The facts and task below are an illustration, not the lesson's exact data.

Copy example

```text
Role: You are a careful reviewer comparing answers from four AI assistants to the same task for Ridgeline Insurance Agency.
Context: The task was: write a short renewal reminder email to a client and a table of this week's five tasks, Monday to Friday. The facts the answers must match are: the renewal date, the request for the VIN, the office phone number and five task rows in day order. The four answers follow, labelled A to D: [paste the four answers here].
Task: For each answer, check each fact and write Correct, Wrong or Missing, with a one-line reason. Also list anything the answer added that I did not ask for. Do not decide which assistant is best. Do not invent facts that are not in the source.
Format: A table with one row per answer and one column per fact, then a short list of added extras per answer. End with two questions I should answer before choosing one for work.
```

## What a good answer looks like

- Each answer is scored fact by fact, so the result is not a gut feeling.
- Extras the assistant added, such as a tip or a signature line, are listed for you to review.
- The AI leaves the choice to you and asks what you still need to decide.

## How to check it before you use it

An AI draft can sound right and still say something you never told it. Use the habit from the [Reply Faster lesson](https://learn.ynteractive.com/content/chatgpt-reply-to-customer-emails): check every promise, name, date and number against what you gave it before anything goes out.

- Check every Wrong or Missing mark against the source yourself.
- Do not paste real client data into any assistant you are only testing. Use a harmless task.
- Choose the assistant your company already pays for and allows, not only the top scorer.
- Run the test again next quarter. Products change.

## Why this prompt works

On an everyday task the four big assistants tend to get the facts right and differ in style, so a scorecard on facts shows what really separates them. Asking the AI not to pick a winner keeps the decision with the person who knows the company rules.

## Frequently asked questions

**Which assistant should I use at work?**

The one your company already pays for and allows, as the free lesson explains. A Microsoft 365 office would use Copilot Chat and a Google Workspace office would use Gemini.

**Can one assistant check another's answers?**

It can, but it can also make mistakes. Treat the scorecard as a first pass and verify the marks against your source.
