A diagram shows the order of steps, who does each one and where the decisions are, and it is far easier to spot a missing step in a picture than in a paragraph. Lucidchart lets a team draw that picture together, with real-time co-editing. Lucid's site lists diagram types from flowcharts, process maps and BPMN to org charts, ERDs and journey maps. Lucid AI turns text prompts into diagram content on the canvas, and a Lucid Custom GPT lets you describe a diagram in ChatGPT and open it in Lucidchart to edit and share. It also works from data. The help center shows how to import a CSV, Excel file or Google Sheet to build an org chart, and how to create a process diagram from a CSV under **File**, **Import**, **Data**.
